Profile
Kel’el Ware has been on draft radars since last season, but has greatly improved his stock by coming back for a second season. Ware is very efficient on both ends of the court while playing on the inside. He needs to improve his footwork and overall play when in space. He is a good vertical lob threat and has the length and vertical to remain effective doing this at the next level. His shooting mechanics are good and should be able to continue improving. Ware is still somewhat raw, but has obvious tools that NBA teams should be able to continue shaping out. This season, Ware has greatly improved his interior defense this season as well. He is aggressive at protecting the rim and is still able to average fewer than 2 fouls per game. He may take some time to adjust to the NBA game, but should be able to be effective in spot minutes early on.
