Matas Buzelis is my top forward prospect in the 2024 NBA draft. Buzelis has great size standing at 6’10” with great skill. He is able to dribble, pass and shoot at a great level for a 19 year old prospect. He has shown flashes throughout this entire season, regardless of having a rocky start to the year. Before playing in the G League, Buzelis was considered by many to be in contention for the number one pick. His skill paired with his size have kept him projected within the lottery, but his improved defense over the back half of the season could have helped him regain ground towards being a top 5 pick.
