Profile
Tyon Grant-Foster has burst onto the scene for many this March, but has been quietly one of the most impressive prospects this season. Tyon has been asked to do a little bit of everything for GCU and has clearly done a great job of that by ranking top 3 in every statistical category for this team. Offensively, he may force his shot at times, but has shown an ability to knock down difficult shots over (and through) defenders. He also has much more impressive court vision than you may assume from his 1.6APG. Defensively, he is definitely able to impact the game on certain possessions, but does not always stay engaged. Tyon sometimes gets stuck on screens or will lose his man while defending off-ball. I see Tyon as having the potential to make one of the biggest rises between now and the NBA draft.
