Jamir Watkins projects to be a 3&D wing in the NBA and clearly has the tools to do this effectively. He has good positional size and feel for the game that makes him effective all over the court. Watkins’ shooting splits were impressive and his form is clean so they have a chance to continue improving. I also think that his feel for the game makes him a solid passer. While his averages for assists and turnovers are close, I do not think that this does justice for his playmaking ability. His most translatable skill is his ability to be disruptive on the defensive end. He makes good reads in passing lanes and plays aggressive enough to jump those lanes when challenged with a pass.
