Johni Broome has been great while at Auburn and has a skill set that should translate well to the NBA. Broome is not the biggest player, but uses his length and strength to bother taller opponents. He did improve his three point shooting this past season, but I do not think this will ever become a strength of his. He is a great interior defender and has a unique ability to attack off the dribble out of the mid range and high post. Challenging vertically is something that Broome has done well consistently and helped him average over two blocks per game. I see him as a backup big with the ability to help teams play fast and defend the rim with a big who does not stretch the floor with his shooting, but rather being able to play-make for others from the top of the key.
