VJ Edgecombe is an extremely impressive wing primarily because of his athleticism and ability to score in the open court. He has a high motor and a very strong frame which helps him finish through contact at the rim consistently. VJ’s outside shooting is still a little bit of a question, but his ability to disrupt opponents while on defense should allow him some time to get the shot figured out. He does a great job of pressuring ball handlers and also wreaks havoc while defending off-ball. Edgecombe is a beast and should be able to carve out a nice roll for himself at Baylor in this upcoming season.
