Jalil Bethea is an extremely exciting guard who excels at creating space off the dribble and elevating to knock down jumpers. He has an extremely smooth shot, but his ability to score all over the court allows him to rack-up big scoring games. I think his playmaking gets underrated and I’d expect to see more of this in his freshman season at Miami. He will need to get a little stronger to compete physically, but his ability to create space with change of speed and direction will still lead to open looks. He moves his feet very quickly on both ends of the court and should be able to disrupt passing lanes.
