Dillon Jones is one of the more polarizing prospects in the 2024 class for me. He can do everything offensively at a relatively high level. Dribbling, passing and shooting are nightly things that Jones is able to impress with. Standing at only 6’6”, some people believe he will struggle to find the best way to fit into NBA lineups. Jones makes up for his lack in height by finding ways to take advantage of whatever mismatch is in front of him. I see his ability to create from the perimeter, as well as the midrange, as translatable skills. Defensively those mismatches do not always play out in his favor. He is a high IQ player, but is often either posted up by bigger opponents or put into isolation by quicker guards. I see Jones playing as a three or four in the NBA and as the game moves further away from traditional positions, his game could continue to grow.
