Reed Sheppard - Kentucky

Profile

Reed Sheppard has been one of the biggest surprises in this draft class. He came into the season as a relatively unknown, but now is at least a lottery pick in nearly every projection. His impact on the defensive end cannot be overstated, averaging over three STOCKS per game. Sheppard finds ways to help Kentucky win in basically every game. Shooting over 50% from three for an entire season is also something that teams will trust to carry over even if it dropped as much as 10%. Sheppard has shown the ability to play all over the perimeter, but I see an area to improve as his ability to attack off the dribble. Sheppard’s best position in the NBA, in my opinion, is playing off-ball. This will highlight his offensive strengths while also allowing him to impact the defensive end as much as his team would like for him too.
