Profile
Jaylon Tyson is an extremely smooth wing with awesome passing ability. He has great vision and does really well with spotting cutters or driving and kicking. I believe that he has good instincts, but oftentimes tries to force the ball. I do not hold this against him too much just because California as a team really struggled this year. As the motor of the offense, shooting 36% does not tell the full story of how good of a shooter he is for me. His shooting mechanics do not change regardless of the type of shot that he is taking. Tyson is not great on defense as he gets stuck on screens and seems to struggle at times with defensive decision making. Being a three-level-scorer with this good of positional size is definitely worth taking a chance on, but Tyson will need to iron out his game to be productive at the next level.
