Juan Nunez is one of the best playmaking prospects in the 2024 draft class. Nunez is as crafty as they come. He does a solid job of creating his own looks whether it be creating jump shots for himself or getting inside and adjusting mid-air to separate from defenders. He has clearly developed a wide skill set while playing professionally overseas and while I do think NBA defenses will lessen his effectiveness, it still will be a dangerous option for teams. Play making is definitely his strong-suit. Nunez has hands-down the next court vision in this class in my opinion. At the moment, I believe his passing instincts are similar to Luka’s before coming to the NBA. If you have a chance, I’d strongly recommend watching his playmaking highlights posted by No Ceilings NBA on youtube. Insane. Defense at the next level will be an issue early on, but I believe in his IQ helping him get it figured out.
