Jamal Shead - Houston

Jamal Shead is undersized for this new age of NBA point guards, but has the tools to make it work regardless. Shead may be the best guard defender in the country this season. He is extremely active and very smart with his decision making on that end of the court. His aggression on defense also allows him more opportunities to get into transition which is one area that he excels in. Maybe my favorite part of his offensive game is his ability to drive and kick. He is able to get into the paint consistently and his quickness causes me to believe that he can continue this at the next level. He will need to improve his shooting consistency, but I expect this to happen when he does not have as much pressure on him to run the show.
